This was Flowcon's first batch controller:
Having established a nitch
with a PID setpoint controller for flow control, the need for a batch control system
became evident. "Software" being a foreign concept to most companies, the
approach was totally hardware.
In the late 70's, controller
processors allowed for a software driven solution, which led to the model 2200
"desk-style" batch system.
